Report: Paul George likely to miss 2014-2015 season after freak leg injury
ESPN is reporting that, Paul George, who suffered a devastating leg injury during the Team USA intra-squad scrimmage Friday night, underwent successful surgery and will likely miss the entire 2014-15 season.
Sources close to the situation told ESPN that while there was no additional damage besides the fractures, doctors believe George likely will miss all of next season, though no official prognosis has been given.George went up for a routine defensively play and landed awkwardly on the stanchion behind the basket during Team USA scrimmage played Friday night . There are photos that show that the stanchion's at the Thomas and Mack center ,where the game was played , are about 2 feett closer to the basket than NBA regulation (seen below)
